ASB Nixon Terrace Playground

South Wales Police has received reports from the public about unknown youths gathering and acting in an anti-social manner in the area of the Nixon Terrace Playground, A small fire was started by the swings and has caused scorching to the safety matting . There have also been a few other small fires set in the lane at the rear of Lidl . Not only is this upsetting for local residents and the children who use this area. It is also dangerous in these recent dry conditions as the fire could have easily spread. If you witness this kind of behaviour, please contact the Police immediately. We are asking if parents / guardians etc, if they can talk to their children and inform them of the dangers of lighting fires and the distress it may cause. Police will be carrying out extra patrols over the next few weeks.
